Laura, born and raised in Texas, taught for many years before becoming an award winning author of cozy mysteries.   

She enjoys the murder mystery series of Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple; the Arthur Conan Doyle’s series of Sherlock Holmes; the television detective shows Monk, Columbo, Psych; and the Hallmark Channel’s murder and mystery series.

She loves playing cards, dominoes, and reading! Her two cats, Pow-Pow and KiKi, keep her busy.
